I live alone with my Golden Retriever, Buster. He’s the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet. He loves everyone. He never barks unless he sees a squirrel or the mailman.
But three days ago, everything changed. I was watching TV when Buster suddenly stood up, the hair on his back bristling. He walked over to the corner of the living room—the empty corner where I keep a tall floor lamp—and started growling.
"Buster, stop it. There's nothing there," I said. He didn't stop. He barked aggressively, snapping his jaws at the empty air. It wasn't a playful bark. It was a warning.
This went on for two days. Every evening around 7 PM, he would stare at that same corner and growl. I checked for mice, spiders, even termites. Nothing. Just white paint and a lamp.
Last night, I decided to record it. I thought maybe I could show it to a vet or an animal behaviorist. I set up my phone on the coffee table and started recording. Buster did his usual routine. He barked, backed away, and whined. After ten minutes, he finally calmed down and went to sleep.
I picked up my phone to watch the video. I played it back. I saw Buster barking. I saw myself trying to calm him down. But then, I looked closer at the corner in the video.
In real life, the corner was empty. But on the screen of my phone, there was someone standing there. A tall, shadow-like figure. It was pressing itself flat against the wall, its long fingers wrapped around the stem of the lamp. And it wasn't looking at Buster. It was looking directly at the camera. At me.
🤯 Was it a Ghost or a Glitch in Reality? Sometimes our world doesn't feel real. Have you ever remembered something clearly, but history says it never happened? That's called the Mandela Effect. 👉
